Day 3 – Interior fit-out
The electrical cables are run in the cavity on the garden rooms exterior.
The wall coverings, whether it be standard MDF, bead and butt MDF, tongue and grooved pine or plasterboard are fitted to the walls and around the window and door openings of the garden room.
Pre-painted architraves are cut and installed around the windows and doors.
Skirting board and eaves pelmet is cut and installed throughout the garden room.
If underfloor heating is being installed, the mats are laid down on the garden room’s floor and connected together.
The electrcal fiitings are installed and connected by an NIC qualified electrician. Shown is the control panel for the underfloor heating.
The floor covering goes down throughout the garden room.
Any nail holes are filled and paintwork touched up.
